An outstanding track record in the domestic market.
Kilduff Construction has an impressive portfolio of restoration and conservation projects. We have successfully completed project of various scale and complexity from simple heritage home roofing projects to comprehensive heritage home renovation and refurbishment projects to the large and complex restoration of a catholic church. Today much of our attention has turned to restoring and conserving our vernacular heritage homes due to the surge in demand for this service and ability.
The vacant and derelict homes grants have now made the restoration of these old buildings viable and attractive. When properly restored these buildings make a really magnificent home filled with character, charm and authenticity that is often difficult to achieve in a new building. Restoring our vernacular heritage homes is a natural extension and progression for Kilduff Construction. We have developed and perfected our skills and experience through the years with a variety of challenging projects and now the restoration of our vernacular heritage aligns closely with our company ethos and mission, ‘Building Sustainably’.
The most sustainable building is the one that already exists, and these old buildings require the use of traditional, ecological and environmentally sustainable materials. Indeed, restoring and repurposing an old building and turning it into someone’s new home using sustainable and often times salvaged materials, really embodies the fundamental principles of the circular economy.
