• Appointed Peace Commissioner for over twenty-five years
• Knock Steward for 22 years
• Serve on the Board of the Vocational Educational Committee
• Serve on the Planning – Strategic Policy Committee
• Member of PTAA – Held many prominent positions nationally

• Currently serve on the PTAA national finance committee.
• Secured funding from the Government for the PTAA to employ a youth liaison officer to visit schools nationally
• Vice-Chairperson of St. John's Parish Heritage Group
• Member of Lecarrow Development Committee
• Former Chairperson of Local Community Alert Association
• Treasurer of Cumhdach Oige Roscomain
• Former secretary St. Johns Community Centre
